plastic extrusion machine suppliers

This page coordinates plastic extrusion machine suppliers replies for a scoped factory inquiry, including a plastic extrusion machine factory that will restate the same polymer, sheet or profile tooling, utilities and commissioning boundary. Plastic Sheet Extrusion Machine Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner; a factory reply is not an appointment by this site and is not a claim that we audited the plant. Compare included items before treating two factory documents as the same offer. Public directories such as Thomas and DirectIndustry describe supplier discovery; they do not replace a named reply for this duty.

Service stage and responsibilities

Requirement review

  1. Requirement review: Equipment scope

Ask each factory to restate extruder size, die, roll stack or profile calibration and haul-off, melt filtration and whether thickness-control hardware is inside the quoted unit. A shortlist that only names company size is not comparable. Throughput in kg/h without polymer, width and thickness is incomplete. Tooling here means dies, feedblocks, calibration tables and haul-off, not a compression mold.

  2. Price exclusions

Flag dryers, melt pumps, installation, shipping, training, commissioning and SAT travel when they are absent. Cooling-water skids and compressed-air knives are often extra. Those gaps are comparison items, not hidden discounts. Spare parts lists should say which screens, blades and heaters are included.

  3. Response basis

A usable supplier response restates performance at the actual polymer and thickness, duty cycle for campaigns, and included documents. This service does not sign FAT or SAT. Owner acceptance remains with the buyer after contract language is written. Cycle time is line recovery after a thickness change, not a packaging-machine output.

Remaining buyer inputs include work envelope, footprint, three-phase supply, connected load in kW, PLC interface names, optional budget (currency, per-unit or whole-order) and supplier preference (premium, mid-range, budget-friendly, or not sure). Preference is a buyer selection, not a verified factory rating.

Single-machine quotes and integrated-line quotes should not share one total unless dryer, die, roll stack, trim and winder or cutter interfaces are named. Nominal family kg/h and validated output on a buyer sample are different numbers; request test conditions. Machine price and installed project cost are also different: tooling, shipping, utilities, installation and spare parts should sit on separate lines. Changeover between sheet thicknesses is a documented duty, not an implied free option.

An open manufacturer sheet dated 2026-09-17 that lists thickness, width, materials and mass output for a clear-sheet line is used only as a unit checklist. It is a BREYER reference observation, not a universal rating and not an affiliation. Viscosity of the melt must be confirmed by the factory against the named feedstock. Positioning of die bolts is confirmed on drawings, not inferred from a photograph. Supply frequency in Hz must match the US plant if a three-phase cabinet is included. A profile request still needs its own calibration and haul-off proposal, as noted on a conEX-type profile source used only as a configuration question.
