RFQ Checklist
Before specifying plastic extrusion machine manufacturers, resolve whether the request is a sheet line with die and roll stack or a profile line with calibration and haul-off, and which project interfaces (electrical, cooling water, PLC) the plant will provide. This page is a decision dossier, not an environmental statement. There is no carbon, net-zero or circular-economy claim here. Plastic Sheet Extrusion Machine Sourcing uses the checklist to keep factory quotes comparable. It does not certify plants or treat catalog kg/h as a contracted output.
Decision dossier
Record polymer, net width or profile drawing, thickness or dimensional tolerance, single-layer or coextrusion, quantity and destination. Attach the drawing revision by name. Work envelope is the remaining length for dryer, barrel, die, roll stack or calibration table and winder or saw, not only the installed footprint. Tooling is dies, feedblocks, calibration and haul-off. Three-phase supply, connected load and PLC interface names apply to the quoted motors and controllers.
Tick whether dryers, melt pumps, extra dies, spare parts, training, installation, freight, duties and commissioning are inside or outside the plastic extrusion machine manufacturers price. A missing tick is an exclusion. Cooling water for barrels and rolls, compressed air for knives, and SAT travel are also site-cost items. No percentage advantage is stated on this page. Optional budget notes (currency, per-unit or whole-order) help search; they are not a factory rating. Supplier preference (premium, mid-range, budget-friendly, or not sure) is a buyer selection.
A supplier response is usable when it restates kg/h at named geometry, duty cycle for campaigns, included documents and the FAT sample. Public manufacturer tables that split thickness, width and mass output on a clear-sheet sheet (observed 2026-09-17) may be cited as questions. They are not this site’s specification. Throughput language must carry material and conditions. Duty cycle is campaign length plus changeover time at the stated temperature.
Remaining inputs: cooling-water temperatures, actual pull-space for die changes, spare-parts list, and whether FAT is witnessed. Mark unknowns. Do not invent connected load for a package whose motor list is still open.
Selection trade-off: a single extrusion machine versus an integrated line. Interfaces, staffing and acceptance boundaries differ. A second trade-off is catalog kg/h versus validated output on the buyer’s polymer. A third is machine price versus installed project cost. Cycle time for recovery after a thickness or die change belongs in the approval record if campaigns switch products. Positioning of die and roll centres is judged on drawings. Supply frequency in Hz must match the US plant if electric cabinets are included. Changeover between products means a new die, polymer or thickness, not a packaging format.
Reference observation dated 2026-09-17 on an open BREYER clear-sheet page is used only as a unit and attribute checklist (thickness, width, materials, mass output). A conEX-type profile page is used only to keep PVC profile calibration off a sheet quotation. Those observations are not a US-localized ranking claim and are not an offer from this service. This independent sourcing guide does not imply affiliation with the manufacturers.
